The Mackenzie Half Marathon, held in Fairlie, New Zealand, offers a unique and unforgettable experience for trail runners and walkers. Celebrating its Scottish heritage, the event features participants dressed in tam o’ shanters and kilts, creating a festive and traditional atmosphere. 10km - Run or Walk
Perfect for runners and walkers alike, our 10km event showcases some of the best scenery the Mackenzie region has to offer. Following a mix of gravel roads, river trails, and rolling terrain, it's the ideal challenge for those looking for a rewarding experience without tackling the full half marathon.
5.5km
The 5.5km event is all about getting involved and enjoying the experience. Ideal for families, beginners, and casual runners or walkers, this shorter course combines beautiful Mackenzie scenery with a welcoming atmosphere and a great sense of achievement at the finish line.
2.5km Fun Run
Designed especially for our youngest participants, the 2.5km Kids Dash is all about fun, confidence, and crossing the finish line with a smile. With a safe, flat course and plenty of encouragement along the way, it's the perfect introduction to running and an opportunity for kids to be part of race day.
