Yes. Walkers are welcome, but the walking category is for participants who intend to walk the entire course. If you plan to jog or run at any stage, please enter as a runner. Walkers start behind the runners and should keep left throughout the course.
Yes. There is one 10km start time. Walkers should line up behind the runners so faster participants can get away cleanly.
Yes. Participants are timed and results are provided by age-group category.
No. Parts of the course use public roads and tracks, so participants need to follow marshal instructions, event signage and normal road-safety rules.

Yes — the river crossing is part of the 10km River Dip course, and you cross it again on your return.
We strongly recommend that you don’t, as you need to be able to hear marshals, traffic and other participants.
Yes. Check the spot-prize board at the finish for your bib number. 10km entrants are also eligible for the major spot-prize draw at prizegiving, but you must be present to win.
Yes. Non-monetary prizes are awarded to 1st place male and female in each 10km age-group category, based on mat time.The age groups are:19 years and under20–29 years30–39 years40–49 years50–59 years60–69 years70 years and over
