The team at Four Square Fairlie are passionate about fresh food and providing great customer service. We have a great range of premium beer, wine, and cheeses along with all of the groceries that meet your daily needs. We take pride in our range of gluten free products, dairy free and keto. We offer fresh meat and freshly caught fish daily. We also offer freshly baked breads and as well as hot cooked chickens. We support many local clubs and events throughout the year. We also have the only Lotto outlet in town.

STRAIGHT 8 ESTATE is located at the top of the Canterbury Plains half an hour drive south of Christchurch in the Burnham area. The vineyard was planted in the mid 1980’s through to 1992.

Hubbard Plumbing & Gas Ltd is a local business servicing the Mackenzie District for all plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying requirements. Bayleys began in 1973, when Pam, Graham and John Bayley began working from their family home in Pakuranga. Graham and his son John worked as full-time salespeople, while Pam supported them as financial controller, receptionist and office manager.
2,000 staff, over 90 offices
Today we have over 90 offices up and down New Zealand and three in Fiji. In total we have more than 2,000 staff, including over 1,000 sales and leasing agents. The rest support our agents with their skills as managers, administrators, marketers, consultants, valuers, trainers, public relations experts, researchers and auctioneering specialists.

Air Safaris
Air Safaris has operated alpine flight-seeing experiences in the world heritage national parks of Aoraki Mount Cook and Westland Tai Poutini since 1970. The iconic Grand Traverse scenic flight provides the opportunity to view New Zealand’s highest peaks and longest glaciers. You can catch the Grand Traverse flight from either of Air Safaris’ modern facilities located at Lake Tekapo or Franz Josef in the South Island.

Mt. Dobson Ski

This inspiring habitat is home to our Freshwater King Salmon. Born to swim they cover the equivalent of a half marathon everyday reveling in the swift flowing currents.

Carnegies
Set in a stunning, historical building that was originally built as a Carnegie library in the early 1900s, Carnegie’s Restaurant & Bar is a true Mackenzie destination in picturesque Fairlie. Take a moment to appreciate the exterior brickwork and the architecture of this special building before stepping inside the inviting, family friendly restaurant.
Inside, your attention will undoubtedly be drawn towards the large wood fire oven, which sits centre space in the open kitchen. A consistent slow fire inside the oven sets the scene for your dining experience, where just about everything on the menu is cooked. It’s quite an interesting watch, keeping an eye on what goes in and out of the oven door.
Carnegie’s Restaurant & Bar is known for creating classic New Zealand dishes with natural flavours, such as its award-winning lamb rack, venison or beef rib-eye fillet steak. A large selection of wood-fired pizzas have naturally found their way on the menu too, and, let’s face it, there’s nothing like a pizza and a beer in the garden on a sunny summer’s day. Don’t overlook the dessert menu either, as there are some seriously delicious items on there that’ll work wonders in finishing off your meal in style.
During the winter things are kept cosy indoors with the almighty wood fire oven. High ceilings, wooden floors and down-to-earth interiors further add to the down-to-earth environment where the entire family can dine in comfort. Appropriate to the building’s history, you’ll also find a small selection of books on the shelves to browse through.
