RACE DAY INFO

Race Day Registrations

Race pack pick up and registrations are at the Fairlie Green, Main Road, Fairlie on Friday 19th July 3pm - 6:30pm and Saturday 20th July from 7:30am - 12noon. Please ensure you give yourself plenty of time to register before your race starts. If you are in town on Friday 19th July, we would prefer that you pick your pack up that evening so there is not a huge rush on Saturday.

If there are still spaces available in the event, then you may register on Race Day. Online registrations close on 15th July 2024.

All competitors will receive a race pack which includes a timing chip. This timing chip must be returned at the finish line or you will receive an invoice for $20.

Race Bibs and Timing Chips

Race numbers must be worn on the front chest area of the top you are wearing for the event and must be visible at all times. Please do not alter them.

All competitors will receive a timing chip which is to be attached to one of your shoes. They cannot be carried in a pocket as it will not register on the timing mat and you will not receive a finishing time.

Traffic Management

The Mackenzie Half Marathon operates under a Traffic Management Plan. Please be aware that all roads and tracks will remain open to the public. Competitors must obey all road rules at all times and adhere to all marshal directions and event signage. Any competitor who does not follow marshal instructions will be automatically disqualified.

Bikes, scooters and dogs will not be permitted on any course. Pushchairs/Prams are allowed on the Hole in One 2.5km course. Children under 5 may also use a balance bike on the 2.5km course. Parents/guardians are responsible for children's safety on the roads at all times.

Supporters

Competitors must not be accompanied by anyone who is not officially entered in the event. There are many great vantage points around the event courses for supporters.  The Fairlie Village Green is the place to be to cheer on friends and family. Stay around after finishing events to enjoy the commentary, music and local food vendors.

Fairlie is very excited to welcome all competitors and supporters to their beautiful town for the weekend. Please support local businesses and enjoy all that the town has to offer over the weekend.
